Furlong Flooring are one of the leading suppliers of Commercial and Domestic Flooring products in the UK branding themselves as the First-choice flooring for every room. In the summer of 2021, they approached Daktela with a view to replacing their existing cloud-based communications solution.
One of the key requirements they had was to use a system that allowed both contact centre and back-office users to be able to share information and calls within the same software platform. As part of this it was also important to be able to track and record activity to ensure that the customer was always routed to the best person available to answer their queries.
In addition, it was important for Furlong Flooring to be able to take customer card payments over the phone in a manner that was easy for the customers, but which also protected their sensitive card data. Using the Daktela payment system integrated within our Cloud based communication solution we enabled Furlong Flooring to take hundreds of these payments each month simply and easily but in a manner that was PCI-DSS Compliant.
